In anticipation of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) has announced the implementation of 10 free shuttle bus routes to make it easier for spectators to reach the most remote competition venues. As the excitement builds for the Games, this initiative aims to ensure smooth transportation for fans attending events in locations less accessible by the regular public transport network.
Several Olympic competition venues are centrally located or near metro stations in Paris. However, other venues like the Guyancourt national golf course or the Colline d’Élancourt, where the mountain bike events are set to take place, are farther from central transport hubs. This is why IDFM has introduced a system of 10 free shuttle bus routes, with a fleet of 450 buses, including articulated buses, set to run between 6 Olympic venues.

According to IDFM, the shuttles will run exclusively on competition days, starting 2.30 hours before the competition and continuing throughout the event until 2 hours after the event ends.
